You’re tired of constant battles with your kids over the smallest things like teeth brushing or learning their du’as.

It seems like the only way you can get through to them is by shouting, threatening or bribing. But later, they just repeat their behaviour all over again... and so do you!

You know this approach isn’t working and there has to be a better way.

💔

You don’t want to be the kind of parent who just barks orders. You’ve tried being reasonable and fair.

👉🏽 You’ve given your children choices, like the shows they can watch on TV

BUT even though they got their choice, they still cry when it’s time to turn the TV off and the only way you can get them to stop is to give them what they want - more TV.

👉🏽 Instead of yelling when your child has misbehaved, you ask them to think about what they’ve done

BUT this ‘thinking time’ makes them more angry and upset, or they just repeat the same behaviour all over again later.

👉🏽 You’ve tried everything else, so you take away their things

BUT that then starts a new tantrum so you have to deal with that on top of the previous issue. You are completely spent, have no energy and are left wondering if you’ll ever enjoy being a parent.

Imagine this...

✅ What if you could stop straddling the line between strict and soft?

✅ What if you could parent your children effectively with Muslim values and stop feeling so guilty?

✅ What if you could do all that without punishing them OR giving into their misbehaviour?

Feels out of reach for you and your children? I’ve been where you are and I’m living proof that you can make this work!

But if that’s not enough, see what other Muslim parents like you have felt and achieved after working with me!

But before I go further, let me introduce myself properly...

Salaam, I’m Thanzila!

Mum of two, certified coach, mentor and qualified teacher with 10+ years' experience in education working with both children and adults.

Just like you, I'm a committed Muslim parent.

I want to please Allah with how I raise my two little ones.

But I know first-hand how tough that task can feel, especially for Muslims raising our kids in the West.

I've been through the same struggles as you...

When I was a first-time mother, I was determined to raise my daughter properly. As I was a teacher, I was focused on giving her the best education which was rooted in Islam myself.

But, despite my efforts, I found myself facing tantrums, disobedience, and disinterest. I'd never faced this in the classroom with other kids before!

So to fix things, I turned to what I knew - classroom behaviour management techniques:

😓 I took away Hana's playtime or toys (but this made her throw tantrums).

😓 So I ignored her tantrums (but she would take hours to calm down).

😓 So I gave her impossible ultimatums so she would make the ‘right’ choice (and this would work in the moment, but the whole cycle would just repeat again another time or day).

I felt so lost and scared and guilty. What was I doing wrong? This wasn't how I imagined being a parent would feel.

In my search for answers, I stumbled upon the Montessori philosophy which taught me how to see the world through my child's eyes. My life and perspective began to change massively.

I realised I’d been focusing more on MY expectations and needs than on my daughter's! 🤯

I thought I was being totally fair and reasonable with her all that time, but I was actually driving a huge wedge between us.

So, I made a deliberate shift. I started parenting with Islamic and Montessori principles: empathy, compassionate boundaries, and understanding.

✅ I changed my perspective - my kid and I are on the same team, we’re not enemies.

✅ I saw the world through her eyes and met her emotional needs instead of ignoring them.

✅ I gave her real choices so she felt she had some control in her life.

✅ I stopped threatening to take away her beloved things in return for her obedience.

✅ I started embodying the idea of 'no compulsion in religion', opting for co-operation instead.

And with time, the tantrums dwindled, we had increased cooperation, and so much more joy and laughter in our family.

The best part?

When I had my second child, my son Zakariya, I was so much more confident and rooted in my parenting ability. I knew how to nurture our relationship so we could both thrive, parent and child.

I was so much better prepared to handle the early years of childhood again because I truly understood my role as a parent.

Alhamdullilah.

I want you to achieve that peace, rahma and confidence too!

I’ll teach you how you can revolutionise your relationships with your children, saving you years of pain, guilt and hopelessness in just 12 weeks, insha’Allah.

So how does it work?

It just takes 4 steps...

Step 1: Foundations

Learn the unique foundations of positive Islamic parenting as the means to create peace, cooperation and happiness in your home.

Step 2: Your child

Understand how to see the world from your child's point of view and start working with your child's fitra (innate, God-given nature) to help them thrive.

Step 3: You

Understand your triggers as a parent, what's going well and what needs to change, so that you can be the parent you want to be for your family AND you.

Step 4: Action

Put your learning into action with small, transformational shifts everyday. Reflect, adapt, repeat. See your family dynamics start to change for the better.

Will this really work?

With Allah's help, absolutely!

Since going through these 4 steps myself, I can now consistently:

Make confident decisions about how to best support my children based on what they truly need.

Set boundaries with my children kindly and firmly and follow through without fear.

Be kind to myself, interrupting shaming thoughts before they take over and choosing a different perspective.

Stop arguments before they escalate and model respectful talk and behaviour.

Prioritise my Islamic obligations and duties, showing my children how a loving Muslim home looks & feels.

Know how to put my ego aside to apologise and repairwith my children when I've messed up.

🤔

Let me put it this way:

I believe passionately about our duty as parents and Muslims. I want to see my vision come to life of generations of children raised with the light of Islam in their hearts, rooted in secure, attached, loving connections with their parents.

I want to see children grow up to embrace their Muslim identity, not walk away from it.

I believe that can only happen with parents who embody rahma (mercy) and understand how to fulfil their obligations as parents. And by helping you, I hope to please Allah and spread goodness on this earth, insha'Allah.

So with that in mind, I have kept the barrier to entry as low as I could! Plus, as this is the first time I'm running this programme in this format (rather than one-to-one), I want to charge a price that feels reasonable for me and you.

I want to encourage as many of you as possible to feel you can access this support and transform your parenting and relationships, insha'Allah!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do the live calls work?

There will be one live training call per week on the relevant topic. The lesson will be delivered via Zoom and will last around an hour. All calls will be recorded and added to your secure online portal for you to watch any time.

When will the programme start?

The doors to this programme are now closed.

What is the programme pricing?

The doors to this programme are now closed.

How do I get my questions answered?

You can have your questions answered in two ways - in the online community or in the weekly live Q&A calls.

After each live training call, I will post a thread in the community for you to submit your questions about that week’s training. If the answer is quick, I will answer directly on the thread. If it requires a longer response, I will address it during the live Q&A. You can also attend the Q&A live and ask any questions to me directly.

What is the programme schedule?

The doors to this programme are now closed.

I have never done a group coaching programme before. Do I need to know anything beforehand?

Not at all. I will guide you week by week - all you have to do is turn up to lessons with an open mind and be willing to engage and learn.

What if I can’t make a session live?

You can catch up with all replays which will be saved in your online course portal. You will have lifetime access to all recordings.

Will I have to do homework?

Every week includes an associated workbook with small tasks. To make the most of this programme, I highly recommend you complete the workbook so you can stay on track and meet your desired parenting goals.

What if this doesn’t work, my parenting doesn’t get any better and my children don’t change?

Nothing is guaranteed and only happens by the will of Allah and there are no quick fixes.

That being said, I am extremely confident in the power of my programme! If you commit to your learning, your homework, ask questions and implement small daily changes, insha’Allah you will see positive changes.

You also need to have realistic expectations. You can’t control other people’s actions, only your own. If you have been parenting in a certain way for a very long time, then you and your children will need time to adjust and get used to the new way of being. But eventually, your consistency and persistence will pay off, insha’Allah.

How much support is included?

There is weekly live training, weekly Q&A calls and weekly question threads in the community.

There is a 48-hour turnaround time to have your question answered in the online community (though I may get to your question quicker).

You can also ask questions to other members in the community, talk to each other and form friendships! Parenting takes a village - so feel free to create yours from this programme.

What if I fall behind with the programme?

If you fall off track, don’t worry! I have dedicated 5 weeks at the end of the programme for action and implementation, which can include time to catch up on prior content. Most important thing is to communicate how you’re progressing and feeling in the community early on so I and others can support you.

Is there a payment plan?

The doors to this programme are now closed.

Do you offer refunds?

As this is a short-term programme, I don't offer refunds. I encourage you to take the time to make an informed decision before you purchase and feel confident in your commitment 😊 If you have any other questions, please drop me at email at hello@salaam-mummy.com!
